Inspired by the Belgian's Abbey dark beers, this whopping 10% brew from Bruton's Master Brewer is surprisingly easy to drink. With notes of rich candied fruits this is very much a full-bodied fireside brew for winter drinking.
Birrificio Bruton is a micro-brewery located just outside of Lucca on the banks of the River Serchio. Created and owned by Agostino Lenci, of Fattoria di Magliano, these are fully flavoured Tuscan beers brewed by a Master Brewer with food very much in mind. Bottled in 75cl they are perfect for two people. They are unfiltered and refermented in the bottle, and therefore naturally cloudy.
