2008 EIDOS DE PADRINAN Albariño Adega dos Eidos
| Grapes: Albariño | Origin: Spain, Rias Baixas |
Lea & Sandeman review
Direct from Galicia, home to some of Europe's best fish dishes which the wines of the region accompany so well. This fabulously well made Albariño has softy peach fruit, bright lemon cut and minerality. Texturally more satisfying than most with a cleaner, drier finish and a distinctive salty tang. Fabulous with grilled fish.Other reviews and comments
Honeyed mango, orange and peach blossom. Really luscious with fresh vibrant acidity and masses of delicious apricot on the mid palate. Energising. GV (TC) 12.5%

Wonderfully aromatic Albariño, with a a creaminess and little floral lift, some real minerality at the core of it. The palate has lots of tight, focused, lemony fruit, with a great pithy core and a fabulously fish-friendly dryness and lightness.
