Selected from a combination of the younger Cabernet (Sauvignon and Franc) and Merlot vines and wines destined for but selected out of the flagship Rubicon blend. The Cabernet Franc is pronounced on the nose, with green leaf and cloves, but the palate is full of juicy fruit and a crisp acidity.

Ernie Els is known as the 'Big Easy' for his smooth flowing golf-swing and you can understand why they have decided to use this moniker for this more accessible cuvée from the Engelbrecht Els vineyard. A truly vibrant and scented blend of Cabernet, Shiraz, Mourvedre and Viognier. Like Ernie's swing this is velvety smooth yet has impressive power and persistent drive.
