Bodegas y Vinedos Montecastro
Montecastro is a new estate in Ribera del Duero founded in 2002. The owners have gone to great lengths to do everything right and it shows in the wine. They own five separate vineyard parcels in the heart of the region, with vines ranging from 6 to 100 years of age. Under the supervision of a young French trained oenologist, Jean Francois Hebrard, the wine has already reached some international acclaim, and they are well on the way to making it one of Spain's top wines.
