2001 CHÂTEAU LES ORMES DE PEZ Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Saint Estèphe

2001 CHÂTEAU LES ORMES DE PEZ Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Saint Estèphe

Grapes: Cabernet Franc  Merlot  Cabernet Sauvignon  Origin: France, Bordeaux
Lea & Sandeman review
This has all the class of a great quality claret, drinking beautifully (as it will for another couple of years). In the glass the wine shows some indication of ageing with warm, seductive aromas of cedar and spice. Fat and sweet on the attack with mid weight fruit and a lovely long finish.

Other reviews and comments
Quite exciting, dark and earthy on the nose with a bright palate. An intense, ripe, very typical Saint-Estèphe. Drink 2007-2014   89/100
Derek Smedley MW, WINE Magazine
Fat and sweet with powerful fruit and good depth of flavour. Nicely balanced with good fruit at the back and some length.
