Lea & Sandeman review
Soft. Quite advanced if style. Good weight, but a bit soulless. Not really showing Saint Estephe character - or enough definition. Given the ambitions of the owners as announced a few years back, this is a bit disappointing. 87/100Other reviews and comments
Bright, vibrant crimson and fresh, rather over the top sweet nose with plenty of oak-derived mocha and spice. Then real palate pinching finish. Definitely stern at the moment but may just have enough fruit to come through. 2012-17

Deep black/garnet hue. Rather lean on the nose, difficult to coax many aromas. The palate is tannic with a slight green pepperiness. Rather hard tannins. Lean on the finish. This may dry out in the medium-term.

Big spicy black fruits, robust wine with character and depth. 2012-18.

Very attractive, with lots of blackberry and currant character. Full-bodied, with chewy tannins and a long finish. Impressive. Very close to the 2005.
