Already looks weighty in the glass! Very fresh and well integrated on the palate. One of the more exciting Corton Charlemagnes I have tasted this week. Good acidity but weight and precision too.

A strikingly elegant and high-toned nose of green apple, white flower and hints of lemon rind merge into intensely stony and pure full-bodied flavors that deliver excellent punch and length on the explosive finish. This is still a bit awkward but this indisputably possesses the best material in the range. 2012+

Green apple, quinine and pepper on the nose. Then surprisingly round and sweet in the mouth, with a distinctly chewy, tactile quality to the flavors of apple, pear, spice and spearmint. A round style of Corton-Charlemagne, stuffed with fruit and long on the aftertaste but just a tad warm. This fruit was also picked early, but the alcohol here is a solid 14%.
