2006 NUITS SAINT GEORGES Domaine J. Confuron Cotetidot
| Grapes: Pinot Noir | Origin: France, Burgundy |
Lea & Sandeman review
Earthy with bigger tannins, good robust core, with dense savoury fruit.Other reviews and comments
(from 80 year old vines in Bas de Combes). Classic ruby. This is also very pinot in character but the earth and underbrush nuances cause it to be more deeply pitched and this slight sauvage character continues onto the raspberry-infused, robust and moderately rustic flavors that culminate in a firm and dusty but not aggressive finish. This is not a model of finesse but possesses plenty of Nuits character. 2013+

Some ripe plummy notes on the aroma. Rounded attack, straighter across the palate, Victoria plum-like fruit, slightly grippy with moderate density, good acidity and a fair finish. Good enough. From 2010
