Lea & Sandeman review
Green leaves and stones and touches of citrus. Palate mineral and firm with stony substance. 'Right-angles, no make-up' says Claude - and indeed it is very structural and impressive. Needs time.Other reviews and comments
Expressive and intricate aromatics of lemon, smoke, mineral salt and orange zest. The palate is vivacious on the attack with a sinuous, slinky texture and understated, citrussy fruit. This is gracefully intense with a long, savoury and refined finish. Fine-very fine. From 2013/14.
Sarah Marsh MW, The Burgundy Briefing
A ripe, pure, fresh and highly expressive nose of floral, green apple and wet stone that is also reflected by the rich, full and obviously powerful medium-bodied flavors that are underpinned by an intense minerality and ample acidity on the bone dry and hugely long finish. A big wine but one of class and grace. 2014+
