Lea & Sandeman review
Rounder, warmer and even more generous on the nose that the Petite Chapelle. Very plums and blackberries, round cassis-like fruit, fresh and delicate with it. Very good tannins again, and very long.Other reviews and comments
Good bright, deep red. Brooding, complex aromas of dark raspberry, espresso and bitter chocolate; conveys a distinctly wild aspect. Then dense and suave on the palate, communicating strong soil tones of blackberry and musky minerality. This broad, youthful wine finishes with lovely sweetness and terrific verve and perfume. Complex and complete premier cru.

A ripe and exceptionally fresh and cool nose that is the essence of red cherry liqueur that is in perfect keeping with the equally cool and elegant middle weight flavors that are textured and possess a seductive, even suave mouth feel with ample dry extract, all wrapped in a mouth coating and dusty finish that is built on a base of intense minerality. This is built to age and will not be an early drinker. 2019+

Very sweet and dense and quite solid. Dry and chewy. Lightweight for a Gevrey.

Profound and intense, with notably scented aromatics of rich, inky fruit. Energetic and driven from the finely tannic entry through a wild, brambly mid-palate and a very long, succulent, yet serious, finish. Lovely intensity throughout - already very harmonized between nose, palate and
length. Fine. From 2012/13.
