Lea & Sandeman review
Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot/Cabernet Franc/Petit VerdotOther reviews and comments
Dark. Savoury but a touch of Jamaican ginger bread. Treacle. Burnt sugar. Something green (laurel perhaps?), menthol. Huge. Blockbuster of flavour. Slightly firmer tannins than any of the others - young tannins, definitely needs more time. A green underlay to this wine that isn't on the others, but it is adding dimension. Drying slightly on the finish. Oak is flexing its muscle. Dark fruit, bitter coffee, green pepper, some cigar spice. Very grippy. Very young. Very big.
