Alberto Longo's flagship wine is made entirely of Nero di Troia, and is packed with ripe licorice fruit and crisp, spicy tannins. The only wine at the estate to spend any time at all in oak (nine months in French 'barriques'). Put this alongside any £20 bottle of claret and see how it performs.
