Lea & Sandeman review
Richly textured, quite full, and very impressive for a 'Macon', but then that is not at all unusual in the hands of Guffens.Other reviews and comments
Very different! Scented lemon grass and lemon meringue. Heady. Incredibly taut structure, shimmering with acidity. Yuzu lemon, lime blossom, wet stones and honey. Huge intensity and focus. So individual and alive. (TC)

A mildly oxidative nose that is presently difficult to evaluate and my estimated range
assumes that this will be cleaned up before bottling. The rich, full and impressively intense flavors provide excellent volume
and much better than average length in the context of the typical wine from this appellation. Should be quite good and
capable of a few years of cellar development. 2010+

Light gold. Pungent aromas of pear skin, quince, toasty lees and minerals, with a strong floral quality adding complexity. Juicy, concentrated citrus and orchard fruit flavors stain the palate and are braced by a smoky mineral quality. Gains weight with air while maintaining verve and focus, finishing with very good mineral cut and lingering spiciness.
