Lea & Sandeman review
Another brilliant example of this wine, backward and undeveloped, yet rich, with density and power, but this is so beautifully balanced that it is easy, delicate, soft. Blackberry and cherry mix with gliding minerals in a lovely voluptuousness, just kept in check by a tannic frame on the finish.Other reviews and comments
Deep and rich and very exotic and puts the simplicity of most 2007s into perspective, Long and dry on the finish. Very exciting.

Good full red. Cool aromas of black fruits, violet, menthol and mint. Spicy, juicy and penetrating, with lovely fresh acidity framing and lifting the cassis, blackberry, mineral and floral flavors. Wonderfully pure, perfumed wine with terrific energy and length. Liger-Belair ranks this with the '05 as his best vintage from these vines.

(from a huge 2.10 ha parcel). This offers a huge step up in both aromatic elegance and depth with a highly complex, pure and airy nose of primarily dark berry fruit, subtle spice notes and soil tones that can also be found on the long, powerful and focused broad-shouldered flavors that deliver a minerally and strikingly textured mouth feel on the gorgeously long finish. Terrific and recommended. 2015+
