Lea & Sandeman review
Deep colour. Lovely dry intensity. Not at all the sweet and simple of some in this vintage - pure Pinot, it could be sweeter, but one might miss its direct, 'straight' serious handsomeness.Other reviews and comments
Good deep red. Black raspberry and smoke on the nose, complicated by leather and dark chocolate. Sweet and broad but vinous, with good density to the mineral and smoke flavors. Finishes persistent and vibrant, with repeating leather and chocolate notes.

A moderately more elegant nose that is equally ripe but there is more aromatic complexity to the red and dark berry fruit aromas laced with ample amounts of Savigny earth while introducing fresh, energetic and punchy flavors underpinned by a touch of minerality on the frank, direct and delicious finish. This is very Savigny in
character with fine backend depth. 2012+
