BAROSSA 'CHOOK'

2008 Chardonnay Australian Terroirs

Grapes Chardonnay
Colour White
Origin Australia, South Australia
ABV 13.3%

Great value Chardonnay from selected Eden Valley fruit. Given a brief period of oak maturation which in turn gives the wine excellent texture and weight. The fruit is soft, ripe and exotic, but in a very refined and restrained manner, with the most amazing finish for a wine at this price level, and a fresh acidity that drives it for well over a minute. L&S (Apr 2010)
