Lea & Sandeman review
'La Source' is the entry level wine for this very good estate in the Côtes de Castillon. Adjoining the vineyards of Saint Emilion these wines are a brilliantly priced alternative to those of their more expensive neighbours. A fairly modern, full-on style wine for Bordeaux (which means it has a lot of fruit) which will appeal to drinkers of Bordeaux, Tuscan and New World wines alike. Aged in large oak 'foudres' there is a soft oakiness to the rich fruit and a refreshing dryness on the finish. Blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.| Purchasing options | |||||||

a little drop of CLARET
How terribly decent - a box of good, classic, drinkable, everyday claret at a price that won't break the bank. Of course, it includes the ever reliable LEA & SANDEMAN Bordeaux, but also a selection of other clarets that should tickle your tastebuds. Chin chin.
