Lea & Sandeman review
A massive success in the vintage. Deeply concentrated with lovely acidity this is impressive but without being overpowering. Drink it now on the youthful berry fruit, or cellar for another five years.Other reviews and comments
One of the finest Chateauneuf du Papes I tasted in the challenging 2008 vintage is Mordoree’s 2008 Chateauneuf du Pape La Reine des Bois. It boasts a deep dark ruby/purple hue as well as aromas of camphor, blueberries, blackberries, licorice, and spice box. Dense and medium to full-bodied, it is one of the most concentrated efforts of the vintage.
