Lea & Sandeman review
Made by Julien Barraud, Daniel's son. this is unoaked and full of expressive fruit, packed with sweet notes and a fresh (lemon) finish. A delightful white burgundy for all round drinking.Other reviews and comments
(aged in two-thirds foudre and the remainder in stainless and marketed under the name of Daniel’s son, Julien Barraud). Residual fermentation aromas make the lemony nose harder to read but the relatively full flavors possess good detail and punch on the sappy and complex finish. This is notably better than its ’07 counterpart and I suspect that we will continue to see improvement in this wine as the younger Barraud gains experience with the vineyard. 2011+

An unoaked Burgundian Chardonnay that's just bursting with character and freshness. From ripe and exotic fruit (banana especially) to a touch of toffee, you get some serious bang for your buck in this bottle.
