Olivier is experimenting with leaving the wines a second winter in cuve (where they have been reassembled from barrel, so tasting younger than ever at this stage. Tightly textured, finely taut with citrus and pear fruit, mineral and long.

Less well-known than Meursault or Puligny-Montrachet, St. Aubin can often be overlooked as an appellation for white Burgundy, but can be the source of some great wines. Close to a Puligny in style, this has lots of lime, honeycomb and flowers on the nose along with a whiff of smoke. Medium bodied and toasty, with lots of citrussy acidity and a lick of gingerbread. A classic St. Aubin from one its best estates.   91

Well- crafted leesy quality on the nose, and deliciously appetising and toasty fruit that's nicely worked and complex with a fine-textured character, good intensity and a crisp citrussy dry finish. It's hard to single out just one of Lamy's 1er cru St Aubins because they're all excellent in this vintage.   91/100

When Oliver took his samples of this vineyard he discovered that it was not Marl Blanche as he had expected, but small pebbly rocks. Mainly older vines of 50 years, some younger 15 year old. Exotic floral character. Quite golden. Rich on the attack with juicy acidity set into the fruit. Nicely rounded in the middle palate, but then it focuses to become slightly smoothly mineral on the finish. Very good. From 2011

Rather high-toned aromas of orange and spices; still a bit of SO2 to be absorbed. Sweet and spicy, with penetrating acidity giving cut to the flavors of lemon, crushed stone and ginger.   89(+?)
