2008 TERRA D'ALTER TINTO RESERVA Terras d'Alter

2008 TERRA D'ALTER TINTO RESERVA Terras d'Alter

Grapes: Syrah  Afrocheiro   Petit Verdot  Origin: Portugal, Alentejo
Lea & Sandeman review
A blend of 33% mixed 'old vines', 33% Afrocheiro, 18% Syrah and 18% Petit Verdot which is matured in new and used American oak barrels for 18 months. Ripe and soft with spicy fruit, this is well structured with a long finish.

Peter Bright's TERRA d'ALTER wines

We've somewhat taken to Peter Bright's outstanding range of wines from Portugal's Alentejo. They represent such amazing value and offer a charming array of textures and flavours. The whites are all bright and crisp but bursting with fruit, the reds rich and dense but still refreshing. It's hard to pick a favourite...so don't, here's one of each.
