Made from ripe hand picked fruit, gentle winemaking and maturation in French oak . This has resulted in a complex and powerful wine, with aromas of ripe cherries, raspberries and plums, a rich and silky smooth palate with fine grainy tannins to match the fruit. L&S (Feb 2012)

This Central Otago vineyard is named after the Wooing tree which sits prominently in the middle of the vineyards and has become a hot spot for local lovers. More to the point, Wooing Tree wines are made in the more restrained fashion that we tend to favour from this region.
