2009 ARAGONEZ Terras d'Alter
2009 ARAGONEZ Terras d'Alter
| Grapes: Viognier Aragones | Origin: Portugal, Alentejo |
Lea & Sandeman review
This rich and intesely fruity Aragonez is blended with a small (3%) proportion of Viognier, which gives a subtle aromatic note on the finish. Matured ten months in American oak the tannins are soft and sweet giving a long spicy savoury finish. Great value.| Purchasing options | |||||||

Peter Bright's TERRA d'ALTER wines
We've somewhat taken to Peter Bright's outstanding range of wines from Portugal's Alentejo. They represent such amazing value and offer a charming array of textures and flavours. The whites are all bright and crisp but bursting with fruit, the reds rich and dense but still refreshing. It's hard to pick a favourite...so don't, here's one of each.
