2009 ARAGONEZ Terras d'Alter

2009 ARAGONEZ Terras d'Alter

Grapes: Viognier  Aragones  Origin: Portugal, Alentejo
Lea & Sandeman review
This rich and intesely fruity Aragonez is blended with a small (3%) proportion of Viognier, which gives a subtle aromatic note on the finish. Matured ten months in American oak the tannins are soft and sweet giving a long spicy savoury finish. Great value.

Peter Bright's TERRA d'ALTER wines

We've somewhat taken to Peter Bright's outstanding range of wines from Portugal's Alentejo. They represent such amazing value and offer a charming array of textures and flavours. The whites are all bright and crisp but bursting with fruit, the reds rich and dense but still refreshing. It's hard to pick a favourite...so don't, here's one of each.
