A classic Australian blend of 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet from the estate's oldest vines. There is a wonderful concentration here and real depth with the lovely chocolate spice and mellow deep fruit framed by an extraordinary, perky eucalyptus note which keeps the whole, lithe and on its toes. A really cracking example. Bernoota means 'camp among the gum trees' and it is the original name given to the homestead. L&S (Jun 2014)
