Lea & Sandeman review
Even bluer and blacker expression than the 'tradition'. Very expressive nose, and while oak is a component it is the fruit flavours which easily domainate. Lots of volume and very pure. Just lovely and no wonder this is being bottled separately for the first time this vintage - its really tastes like a wine from a specific site with a real personality.Other reviews and comments
Impressive purity of aroma, bacon, coal-dust. Delightful, genuine fruit, good manners. Top Burgundian elegance. Drink 2015-2026 - Decanter April 2011

Gorgeously ripe sweet cherry nose. Ripe but so fresh and pure. Heightened by a fine floral note – verging towards roses but not quite. Dense and intensely pure cherry fruit with a well-balanced framework of compact, fine tannins and fresh acidity. A baby with a promising future. Drink 2015-2025

Saturated ruby. A perfumed, complex bouquet evokes dark berries and cherry pit, along with suave floral and spicecake qualities. Juicy and silky in texture, offering sweet, palate-staining black raspberry and cassis flavors. The spicy quality gains strength with air and carries through a long, seamless finish. I find this wine highly appealing already.
