2009 GENERATION 3 Corbières Cellier de Marjorine
2009 GENERATION 3 Corbières Cellier de Marjorine

Lea & Sandeman review
Christophe Lagarde is the third generation on this family property, and is rightly proud of this which arrived as an unsolicited sample after we had rejected his 2008 last year. Round and juicy, it is civilised for a Corbières (which can be rustic in the extreme), and had good complex dark fruit and garrigue notes and a lovely supple balance.Other reviews and comments
Syrah and Grenache. Luc sur Orbieu. Rich and sweet and loose but with something to give – especially at this price! Well done them for finding it!

"This light Rhone style wine benefits from a touch more ripe fruit and soft oak in this vintage. Not without the hints of bonfire smoke that made the previous vintage so appealing to us, and with an old world charm that makes this so drinkable with or without food. "
