Supple characterful medium-bodied red from this young Corbières producer. A well-defined lightly smokey ripe blackberry fruit with tannins that are present but ripe and satisfying rather than painfully grippy, making for a great weekday supper or bistro wine. More serious than the jokey label implies, but to be enjoyed rather than worshipped. L&S (Sept 2010)

Another value for money wine like you wouldn't believe. A fabulous blend of Marselan (a Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache hybrid grape) together with Rhône favourites Syrah and Grenache. Cellier de Marjorine
Christophe Lagarde took control of the family property in 1989, and having previously sold all of the estate's grapes to the local co-operative, made the decision in 2007 to make their own wines at the estate. Of the total 28 hectares planted he has selected only the best 12, most of which are classified as AOC Corbieres, for the estate wines.
