Lea & Sandeman review
Beautiful white flowers on the nose, succulent fruit with fine acidity and lovely minerality on the long finish.Other reviews and comments
The Frionnes is a touch reticent on the nose although there is tangible sense of cold granite underneath. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, lovely poise with touches of white peach and a hint of guava towards the vibrant, zesty finish. Good length.

Bright yellow. Sweet grapefruit dominates the nose. Round, generous and large-scaled for Saint-Aubin, with a pliant texture to the grapefruit and lemon flavors. Finishes with excellent length.

Lively white flower, lemon rind and wet stone aromas that precede attractively textured, intense and admirably pure flavors that exude a real sense of energy and punch on the highly persistent finish. This is a wine of harmony and finesse but also ample personality. 2015+

Very light nose. Fresh pear juice on the palate. Then a chalky chewy finish. 2013-2016

Small pebbly rocks. The roots can go deep in this soil. Vines are 15-70 years old. Perfumed and floral. Quite succulent on the front of the palate. Juicy middle with ripe fruit, a touch of honey and candied lemon, underscored with sweet acidity. More energy than the Clos de Meix and a certain sweet minerality. Very good to particularly good.
