Tasted from a 50 hectolitre 'botte', this is the first vintage that has been put into wood. It shows massive colour and is beautifully scented with sweet spices and orange peel. A rich and creamy texture covers the bright deep morello cherry fruit. Big wine for Dolcetto but not without elegance and length. L&S (Dec 2012)

The 2010 Dogliani Vigna Tecc (Dolcetto) boasts gorgeous intensity and richness. Sweet floral notes lead to layers of expressive red fruit in this powerful Dogliani. Robert Parker recently wrote: ' Consulting oenologist Beppe Caviola has been instrumental in ratcheting up the quality at this historic property. I can't think of too many estates that have made such significant strides in just the last few years.'
