2010 ALFROCHEIRO Terras d'Alter
| Grapes: Afrocheiro | Origin: Portugal, Alentejo |
Lea & Sandeman review
Alfrocheiro is a widely planted variety which gives remarkably similar results to Pinot Noir, in a dense almost New World style. Made with twenty per cent whole bunch fruit in the ferment, the wine spends three months in second and third year oak barrels. Packed with sweet ripe fruit and soft, spicy tannins this is fabulous value.| Purchasing options | |||||||||||||||
