2010 FRIULANO Colli Orientali del Friuli Visintini

2010 FRIULANO Colli Orientali del Friuli Visintini

Grapes: Tocai Friuliano  Origin: Italy, Friuli Venezia Giulia
Lea & Sandeman review
Beautiful expression of Friulano, and benefitting in this cooler vintage from a slightly lower degree of alcohol, giving the fruit more clarity.

Other reviews and comments
Green and leafy on the nose. Very fresh on the finish. Complete and not too rich. Quite tangy. Long.   16.5

simply ITALIAN

Whether it's something Italian inspired - a pizza or a steaming bowl of pasta - something more widely Mediterranean, or something more home grown like bangers and mash, there is something so perfectly right about a glass of Italian wine to wash down your dinner. The bright cherry fruit of the reds, the crisp bite of the whites, all accompany and compliment food so well. Tuck in to this case of simple "everyday" wines and let the Italian sunshine into mealtimes whatever the weather.
