Lea & Sandeman review
At only 11.3% this is a wonderfully refreshing, pure and clean wine, full of fresh aromatics (mint and herbs) and chock full of bright fruit. Although this is great for drinking young it does evolve beautifully over two or three years and more.Other reviews and comments
Old vines (60-80 years old) and stainless steel. Some skin influence. Non interventionist, but they use a little bit of sulphur (50-60 mg/litre) because they see wine health as important. Racy and quite aggressively dry.

Like a cross between a Chablis and Vinho Verde, this surprisingly light in alcohol dry Italian white is an instant refresher on nose and palate, a highly aromatic wine of bone dry, refreshingly savoury, almost salty fruit from Ferdinando Zanusso.

We have always sold this is as a wine for drinking pretty much immediately, but a recent tasting of back vintages showed that in good vintages this wine develops beautifully, taking on quite Burgundian characteristics. Awarded 'Tre Bicchieri..." (more info)
