Some of the vineyards here are sandwiched between Poyferré and Las Cases, so no wonder Bruno Saintout is capable of turning out a Saint Julien which really does have all the hallmarks of a wine from this exceptional terroir. Juicy and lifted, with a lovely supple fruit and succulent length, this is a brilliant little Saint Julien for a very reasonable price. Drinking range: 2013 - 2018 L&S (Jul 2015)
