Top-drawer modern Lalande de Pomerol Quite an opulently toasty, oaky nose, but which also has the volume and depth of fruit to complement it. Round and mouthfilling, succulent and long, it is delicious drinking now. A perennial best seller in our claret range. L&S (Aug 2015)

Château Perron
Château Perron is located near the church in the village of Lalande-de-Pomerol. It has been the home of the Massonie family since 1958, although the château dates back to 1642. Michel Massonie, father of Bertrand who runs the estate today, was a well-known figure in the region and was instrumental in founding Lalande-de-Pomerol's wine brotherhood.
