In 2012, Eric Duffau's early-ripening terroir has produced a wine with deep colour, rich, fleshy fruit and lovely weight. This is always a great 'value' Bordeaux, with a lovely middle jammed with soft ripe fruit and the perfect seasoning of wood spice and black pepper that gives the classic lines you would hope for in any claret. Great, easy drinking for Bordeaux.

*Case Price: Mix any 12 bottles of wine or 6 bottles of Champagne, Spirits or Fortified to get the 'case price discount' for each bottle. Free mainland delivery for all orders over £100.

The Duffau family have been making Bordeaux at Chateau Belle Garde since 1850. The 46 acres of vines are dotted around on different parcels of land with varying soil types (clay-limestone, clay and gravel and sandy gravel). The majority of the land is situated on the south facing hillside in front of Saint-Emilion. The vines planted for claret are 80% merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Visit Website
