Nairac seemed still to be fermenting, with a tiny prickle on the tongue. Rich and weighty but retaining a bright lemon freshness and purity. Supple palate, very rich indeed. Rating: 91-92 L&S (Apr 2014)

Medium yellow-gold. Complex, deep nose reveals pineapple, caramelized ginger and honeyed minerals. Then easygoing, bright and fresh, with flavors of citrus fruits, green papaya and orange zest nicely framed by lively acidity. Features sneaky concentration and a very long aftertaste. Candied citrus peel, some apricot and yellow peach the nose has depth and the palate starts with fleshy richness. There is an underlying freshness that helps to balance but the orange marmalade richness is there at the back and the finish is lush and sweet fruited. 2020-35.
