Classic in the Boillot's style, pale, nose of ripe yellow fruit, palate roundly sweet with just a hint of oak. Juicy and easy. 'Quite powerful and fresh at the same time', says Lydie. Drinking range: 2015 - 2018 L&S (Nov 2014)

Very pale yellow. Fresh apricot and nut meats on the musky nose. Silky and salty but without the fruit ripeness of the 2014; the texture here is probably due more to a lot of batonnage. A bit dry and austere on the back end. Hail resulted in uneven ripening here, noted Boillot. Drinking range: 2017 - 2021 Rating: 87 Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (Sept 2015)

(an assemblage of premier cru parcels; 2013 produced a normal yield here): Lemon zest dominates the nose. Juicy and brisk but with lovely sucrosite to the lemon and mineral flavors. Jean-Marc Boillot
Jean-Marc's daughter Lydie and son-in-law François Alzingre have worked alongside him and effectively run the domaine, and are now being joined by their children. Alongside the wines from the family's own vineyards, They also run a successful négociant business, vinifying wines from the Côte Chalonnaise with huge aplomb. In Montagny in particular, the wine is the best we have found in the appellation, and remarkably consistent from year to year.
