Intense notes of ripe apricot and pink grapefruit. Mineral flavours with white peach and apricot skin on the palate. Mouth filling richness resulting from prolonged barrel aging and contact with lees. Will grow immensely with bottle age.

Has some of the Douro's Viosinho in the blend - round 15%. Around 40 - 50% in older barrels, all
the components made separately, and blended at the end. Peter says it ages beautifully. Oak
imparts only a tiny touch of nuttiness and creaminess, but the nose is really focused on the fruit, with a gently earthy character that is typical natural ferment. The palate has beautifully focused minerality, lovely sense of harmony, finishes with great joie de vivre.
