2014 was by no means an easy vintage in Rías Baixas, which was tough on the back of the grim 2013. Thankfully the experienced team at Adega dos Eidos have pulled it off with some style. This is broader than in some years but is a great expression of Albarino in a more gastronomic line. Gorgeous texture, soft warm lemon notes - peachy too - but finishes brightly with a hint of mineral lift. L&S (Jun 2015)

From the Val do Salnés sub-region of Rías-Baixas, this is a beautifully modulated Albariño with an alluring mouthfilling quality of in-season ripe fleshy apricot and white peach underscored with that typical Galician saline freshness and tasty mineral water savouriness that has the depth and texture to cope with white meat as well as the usual seafood. A brilliant Albariño from grapes grown on the granitic slopes of Val do Salnés, a sub-region of Rías Baixas. Generous, broad-textured, ripe stone fruit and green apple flavours along with fresh acidity, minerals and a gentle phenolic grip on the finish. Great Depth.
