Compass Box
Founded in 2000 by American ex-pat John Glaser, former marketing director at Johnnie Walker and with a strong background in the wine trade; Compass Box is a small producer, bottler and marketer of blended Scottish Whiskies. Although Glaser lives and works in London, the office is registered in Edinburgh as by law any company selling Scotch must have a Scottish address. Glaser buys various casks of Scotch which he then blends and ages them himself using a variety of different woods such as French oak and Sherry casks in order to obtain the flavours he desires.
