Lea & Sandeman review
A blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, with about 10% Chardonnay to give a dash of elegance. Considerably better than some widely available cheap Grandes Marques, and very consistent in quality and value.

I could not believe the price. It is a 'soft-landings' type of champagne, easy to drink, ripe and gulpable.

Bargain price for this tight, herby apple fruited Champagne with its light, yeasty character. The palate has a vivacious freshness too, lots of clean, crisp, lemon zest fruit and zingily dry (but not tart) citrus acidity. Fine aperitif stuff, or lovely with oysters.   90/100

Spicy green apple and some red apple on the nose. Soft, pleasant sparkle. Balanced and fresh with crisp acidity and a bit of toastiness on the medium to long finish. 88 points, very good value.
