No introduction is needed for this famous 'Grande Marque'. Krug remains the top choice 'special occasion fizz' for those in the know and yet manages to avoid being too flashy.

Light toasty aromas of almonds, truffles and mushroom hints. When you sip it, the bubbles are impeccably delicate on the palate and the flavours last for an astonishingly long time. Incredible persistence and intensity powered by layers of honeyed and zingy fruit blended from 10 different vintages and 47 wines from 25 villages. In this compelling wine there is delicacy along with awesome finesse and complexity. Bravo!   94/100
