Just published is Tim Atkin’s 2012 Burgundy Special Report<\/strong>, available for \u00a312 from his website<\/a>, an incisive and in-depth tome on all things to do with this most extraordinary of vintages. It’s \u00a312 well spent, especially if you are considering making a purchase or two, which Mr Atkin would seem to heartily recommend.<\/p>\n

‘Anyone who loves red Burgundy should buy some. Prices are steep for the top wines, but less so than they are in Bordeaux in equivalently special vintages.’<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

We, of course, read it eagerly to see what Tim has to say about the growers and n\u00e9gociants in the LEA & SANDEMAN<\/strong>\u00a0list and were happy to see them mentioned often and in glowing terms.\u00a0Especially pleasing\u00a0is that in his list of Top 25 Best Value Producers<\/strong> (and this is a vintage where price and, therefore one supposes value, are a key talking point), LEA & SANDEMAN<\/strong> growers provide 7 entries. Worth a look…<\/p>\n
