LEA\u00a0& SANDEMAN \u2013 BARNES<\/b><\/p>\n

Burgundy Tasting – Tuesday 18<\/b>th<\/sup><\/b> & Wednesday 19<\/b>th<\/sup><\/b> March<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

For our first in-store tasting of 2014 we have chosen a real Lea & Sandeman speciality – BURGUNDY<\/b><\/p>\n

This is not an en primeur tasting, but rather a selection of Burgundy<\/b> from our current range \u2013 and all available now.<\/p>\n

Please note that as Burgundy<\/b> is equally famous for its reds and whites this tasting will be split 50 \/ 50 between red and white wine.<\/p>\n

We plan to show around\u00a016<\/b> wines including such famous names such as Gevrey Chambertin, Pommard<\/b> and Beaune <\/b>for red, with Chablis, Meursault, <\/b>and Puligny Montrachet<\/b> among the whites, along with of course some great value alternatives.<\/p>\n

For those of you yet to try our tastings, and \/ or are new to our list, and are\u00a0wondering what goes on the following brief description may help:<\/p>\n

The tastings are held in the Barnes store<\/span> <\/strong><\/span>between\u00a06.00 and 9.00pm.<\/p>\n

Around 15 – 20 people attend each tasting, the tastings themselves are fairly informal, stand up, not sit down affairs, and are not tutored \u2013 rather you can taste what you like in your own time,\u00a0in any order you like, and retry your favourites.<\/p>\n

Tasting notes will be provided with a little information on each wine, where it comes from, what it’s made from, why it’s notable etc<\/p>\n

Myself and Emerson\u00a0will be\u00a0on hand and happy to answer any questions you may have.<\/p>\n

Tickets are \u00a315 per person and refundable against any purchase on the night of \u00a350 +<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n
