\"2013-Bordeaux-En-Primeur-En-Primeur-Campaign\"<\/a><\/h2>\n

The second week of releases from the 2013 primeur campaign is over, and Lynch Bages<\/strong> has emerged as the first wine to ‘work’ in any real sense. The Ch\u00e2teau has released 65% less wine than last year, and has dropped its price a little. It is offered at \u00a3550 in bond\u00a0a case (six-bottle cases\u00a0available at half this, and other sixes to order with\u00a0usual small premiums)\u00a0is fairly significantly cheaper than the current price of the 2007 (around \u00a3720). I can’t say it’s a screaming\u00a0bargain at this price, but one knows they will get the \u00e9levage right (which is going to be critical this year)\u00a0so this comes recommended in a low voice\/lower case fashion. The small volume makes this one to act on if you want to be sure of getting it.<\/p>\n

We are still a little tardy getting our full notes up on the site, but these will be added as soon as possible – blame Vinitaly. I have not noted the Sauternes releases yet, but there’s no rush here, decisions can wait until they are all out.<\/p>\n
