Today’s releases include the ‘little wines’ of Denis (\u00c9glise Clinet) Durantou which provide two of our strongest buy recommendations of the vintage, La Chenade<\/strong> and Les Cruzelles, <\/strong>as well as all of the Delon\/Las Cases wines. <\/strong>Also out today is one of our special recommendations in the shape of Stephane Dief’s top-rated M\u00e9doc Clos Manou<\/strong>. If you are going to buy at all, buy some of these for real drinking pleasure at the right price.<\/strong> We await \u00c9glise Clinet itself with interest – it is worth noting that the ‘lesser’ vintages\u00a02004 and the 2007\u00a0were both been given 95\/100 in a blind tasting in 2011 by Neal Martin\u00a0– Denis Durantou has proved he can weave his magic almost no matter what the climate throws at him.<\/p>\n

We really really liked Clos du Marquis<\/strong> this year, \u00a0and L\u00e9oville Las Cases <\/strong>was pretty stunning but not really looking a great primeur buy at this level. <\/strong>Beauregard<\/strong>, which showed really well, seems to us\u00a0a better Pomerol buy than N\u00e9nin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
