L&S was Highly Commended in the national<\/em> awards for best ‘Large<\/em> Independent Merchant of the Year’<\/h2>\n

We are delighted also to have\u00a0won this impressive chunk of metal,\u00a0for\u00a0being\u00a0Highly Commended in the national<\/em> awards for best ‘Large<\/em> Independent Merchant of the Year’.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Awards<\/a>It has to be said that there is a bit\u00a0of curious category confusion here, as the winner of the ‘Large’\u00a0category is a company a good\u00a0ten times our size, while the winner of the ‘Small Independent Merchant of the Year’\u00a0employs more people than L&S, (but has only one retail\u00a0outlet). ‘Large’ apparently starts at anything over three shops.<\/p>\n

We are\u00a0very happy to be<\/strong> Highly Commended <\/em>in the more grown-up category<\/span><\/span>, as we feel that it shows we are punching well above our weight.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
