I soon hatched a plan which would kill all three birds with one stone for the first day:<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20077\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-20077\" class=\" wp-image-20077\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-2207a.kxcdn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Sainte-Victoire.jpg\" alt=\"Beautiful Sainte Victoire\" width=\"371\" height=\"278\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-20077\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Beautiful Sainte Victoire<\/p><\/div>\n<h3>First \u2018Bird\u2019 to deal with: Entertain the guests<\/h3>\n<p>After arriving in Marseille \u2013 we rented cars and went straight to Sainte Lucie where we were met by the enthusiastic and charismatic winemaker Guillaume for a winery tour. There was a slight language barrier: Guillaume could speak French and a little Spanish and English and we could speak English with a little French and Spanish. Soon enough we were going through the finer points of winemaking in a combination of European languages.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20078\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-20078\" class=\"wp-image-20078\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-2207a.kxcdn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/MIP-HQ.jpg\" alt=\"MIP HQ\" width=\"250\" height=\"334\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-20078\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The gates to MiP HQ<\/p><\/div>\n<h3>Second \u2018Bird\u2019 to deal with: Watering the guests<\/h3>\n<p>Once the winery tour was done, we headed out of the cellar to tasting room. With the temperature outside hitting 35 C, Guillaume hauled endless bottles of white and rose out of the fridge to quench our thirst. Soon the language barrier was not a problem as the international language of \u2018drink\u2019 soon came out. Once finished, we came to a swift conclusion that <strong><a title=\"2014 MIP* Made in Provence Classic Ros\u00e9 Domaine Sainte Lucie\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2014-MIP-Made-in-Provence-Classic-Rose-Domaine-Sainte-Lucie-21448-00.html?pack=25911&amp;term=lucie&amp;page=\" target=\"_blank\">MiP Ros\u00e9<\/a><\/strong> and <a title=\"2014 MIP* Made in Provence Classic White Domaine Sainte Lucie\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2014-MIP-Made-in-Provence-Classic-White-Domaine-Sainte-Lucie-21447-00.html?pack=25910&amp;term=mip+white&amp;page=\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>MiP White<\/strong><\/a> were an amazing option when it comes to bang-for-buck!<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20079\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-20079\" class=\" wp-image-20079\" src=\"https:\/\/blog-2207a.kxcdn.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/Lunch.jpg\" alt=\"Lunchtime - Provence Style\" width=\"243\" height=\"324\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-20079\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lunchtime &#8211; Provence Style<\/p><\/div>\n<h3>Third \u2018Bird\u2019 to deal with: Feeding the guests<\/h3>\n<p>Once the wine was loaded up in the cars, I got into, what can only be described as, a \u2018souped up\u2019 dune buggy, to lead the convoy to the restaurant for lunch. Guillaume, who was driving, set off at 60 mph going sideways around a corner leaving my stomach and the rest of the convoy in a cloud of dust behind us. Once safely at the restaurant we had a delightful lunch sipping on <strong><a title=\"2014 MADE IN PROVENCE! Premium Ros\u00e9 Domaine Sainte Lucie\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2014-MADE-IN-PROVENCE-Premium-Rose-Domaine-Sainte-Lucie-21449-00.html?pack=25915&amp;term=lucie&amp;page=\" target=\"_blank\">Made In Provence Premium Ros\u00e9<\/a><\/strong> whilst gazing over the rolling vineyards in Sainte Victoire.<\/p>\n<p>I suppose I killed a fourth bird as well. Domaine Sainte Lucie and Domaine des Diables are certainly hot property in the summer months.
