The White Burgundy \u2013 Tuesday 17th<\/sup>\u00a0& Wednesday 18th<\/sup> May<\/strong><\/span><\/u><\/u><\/h3>\n

Our second Tasting of 2016 will be a first for us, as we will be concentrating only on White Wine and only from one region. That region however will be Burgundy<\/strong>, home to arguably the greatest white wines in the world.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The tasting will feature 14 whites in total, covering all of Burgundy\u2019s regions from Chablis<\/strong> in the North to\u00a0Macon<\/strong> in the South.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Expect to taste the greats Puligny Montrachet, Chassagne Montrachet and Meursault,<\/strong> along with some lesser known names offering great value.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Please note that we will be showing exclusively white wines at this tasting.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

How do our tastings\u00a0work?<\/strong><\/span><\/u><\/u><\/h3>\n

For those of you yet to try our tastings, and \/ or are new to our list, and are\u00a0wondering what goes on the following brief description may help:<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The tastings are held in the\u00a0Barnes store<\/strong>\u00a0between\u00a06.00 and 9.00pm.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Around 15 \u2013 20 people attend each tasting, the tastings themselves are fairly informal, stand up, not sit down affairs, and are not tutored \u2013 rather you can taste what you like in your own time,\u00a0in any order you like, and retry your favourites.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Tasting notes will be provided with a little information on each wine, where it comes from, what it\u2019s made from, why it\u2019s notable etc<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Emerson and I\u00a0will be\u00a0on hand and happy to answer any questions you may have.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
