Both these were showing well and confirming their places as some of Pauillac&#8217;s most gorgeous wines. Haut Batailley has to be seen as a true bargain compared to its neighbour Batailley, and will as usual be drinkable quite young. Yes GPL has taken a price hike, but the quality is there and it is still a relative bargain compared to similarly-rated neighbours.<\/p>\n<p>Three other wines which merited one of our &#8216;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/images\/favicon-Circular.png\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/>&#8216; marks in the vintage were also released: over-performing Pomerol\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2015-CHATEAU-BEAUREGARD-Pomerol-Chateau-Beauregard-23261-00.html?category=261\">2015\u00a0CH\u00c2TEAU BEAUREGARD<\/a> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/images\/favicon-Circular.png\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/> , which has had huge investment by its new owners but sensibly kept its general manager Vincent Priou in charge, and this may be his best-ever wine. Also out are both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2015-CHATEAU-SMITH-HAUT-LAFITTE-Cru-Classe-Pessac-Leognan-23358-00.html?category=261\">2015\u00a0CH\u00c2TEAU SMITH HAUT LAFITTE<\/a> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/images\/favicon-Circular.png\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/wine\/2015-CHATEAU-SMITH-HAUT-LAFITTE-Blanc-Cru-Classe-Pessac-Leognan-23343-00.html?category=261\">2015\u00a0CH\u00c2TEAU SMITH HAUT LAFITTE <span style=\"color: #008000;\">Blanc<\/span><\/a> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.leaandsandeman.co.uk\/images\/favicon-Circular.png\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/>.
